Sending Attachments to Customers in Outgoing Tickets READYDESK

Have any ReadyDesk users out there figured out how to send an attachment to a customer through an outgoing ticket? I can email my customers and attach a document, but that document doesn't go through to them... it just stays appended and is visible from the History tab.
p.s. any ReadyDesk user out there - please email me. I have other questions, there support is terrible.
