The manufacturing company I work for purchased the product Version 5.0. Pros: it has a lot of features for little dough i.e. Asset tracking, autoesclation features, etc. It is fairly easy to use once you get used to it. Cons: Documentation stinks. There are no implementation guidelines. Installation on the client machines is a problem if you are using Oracle on the back-end. The footprint is about 300mb for the Oracle client and Bridgetrak. If there is a maintenance release, every client has to download it individually and install it (imagine if you had techs at multiple sites, like we do?) Also, possibly a pro for some, is the flexibility. You can modify it, to some extent, but it takes a great deal of planning and understanding your workflow. WARNING: any modifications you make to the client look and feel, like customized ("intelligent") drop down lists - will not appear on the web version of the software. This is a problem if you have techs at remote sites who have only web access to the software.
