I developed a custom program for a client that monitors various states in their system. A feature of this is that it raises alerts by displaying an icon in the Task Bar when certain critical events happen.
I want to extend this now so that it could raise alerts to a help desk program. However, this is an area that I know nothing about so I would like to investigate just the 3 or 4 biggest selling helpdesk packages to see what sort of interfaces there are for my program to raise alerts to the Help Desk.
Which should I be looking at ?
