I am looking for a helpdesk software that will serve a small company of about 95 employees. Obviously I would prefer to keep the cost low, but my biggest concern is that I want it to have custom group email alert notifications. In other words, I want to define groups of technicians in my IT Department: a group called IT Managers that will have two users, another group called Systems Administrators that will have three users, a group called Web Designers that will have two users, etc. So when the end user wants to create a help desk call, he or she will assign it to a group, and then the members of that group will each get the email notification. I don't want to alert my Web guys that a server is down, and I don't want to alert my Systems Admintrators that there's a broken link on our website. Can anyone help me?

I am using a new help desk ticketing systemwith live chat called FocalScope, for my company and it
manages my work very efficiently. It helps you manage customer queries with multiple ticket boxes and
user groups and even integrates with Active Directory. Ticket reassignments can be done at any time to
another group member or ticketbox. You can also choose to share documents between departments
when necessary with the built in document center (great as it replaces FTP). Internal communications can
be done swiftly as FocalScope has instant messaging. The first three licenses are free, so you could try it

ReadyDesk will allow you to create an unlimited number of ticket assigment and notification rules that will only send notifications to certain groups. Rules can be based on many different criteria, including category, spcecific customers, customer groups and more.
