where to find Charcadet and how to evolve them into Armarouge or Ceruledge in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Quote | Reply

Charcadet is one of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's best new Pokemon. What it evolves into depends which game you're playing: Scarlet players will get Armarouge, while Violet players get the significantly cooler looking Ceruledge. It's worth going out of your way to get either as early as you can, as they're among the most powerful new Pokemon introduced in the new games.

Charcadet isn’t too tricky to go about finding or evolving, but its evolution does vary depending on what version of the game you have. Scarlet owners can evolve Charcadet into Armarouge, while Violet owners will be able to evolve the fire-child ‘mon into Ceruledge.

Without further ado, then, here’s where to find Charcadet and how to evolve them into Armarouge or Ceruledge in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Where to find Charcadet
As for finding a Charcadet, the Pokedex entry lists its habitat as most of the southern half of Paldea. Personally, I found them easiest to find in South Providence Area Three, which is located directly to the East of Mesagoza. They can be difficult to spot due to their small stature, but the bright-red color makes them a bit easier to spot. You can also consume some food that boosts catching fire-type Pokemon to assist with this endeavor.

How To Evolve Charcadet
To evolve Charcadet, you need to make a trade in Zapapico. Go to the center of the city to the area with the small water fountain. You'll see a Zapapico citizen emitting an orange speech bubble, indicating they mean business. What the person wants depends on what game you're playing: In Scarlet, it's 10 Bronzor Fragments. Pokemon Violet players will need to collect 10 Sinistea Chips.

Once you’ve got all 10 Bronzor Fragments, you’ll need to make your way to the town of Zapapico, shown on the below map.

In this town, make your way to the small water fountain that has an elderly man in a pink shirt stood in front of it. Chat with him, and he’ll offer you the Auspicious Armour item in exchange for your Bronzor Fragments.

With the trade completed, simply give the Auspicious Armour item to your Charcadet, and they’ll evolve into Armarouge at long last.
