Does anyone know if it is possible to access the IncidentMonitor data through a COM interface? I want to be able to provide management with a Excel spreadsheet that contains a very customized real time view of the system with EIS type status graphs combined with our switch performance statistics.

You are only limited by your imagination in this area. We provide a COM reference guide on our CD that is the roadmap to delivering your own solutions.

Our software uses the same COM objects that are available to you. Therefore, you can integrate any of our functionality into your own applications.

Some sample applications our clients are using this for include building realtime statistical charts and graphs in Excel, providing monthly reports to clients generated in Word documents. In these scenarios, Excel or Word instantiate COM objects to get the data from the IncidentMonitor system in order to produce reports.
