Can anyone please tell me approximatly what percentage of corporate help desks handle PC maintenance in terms of troubleshooting and repairing PC hardware failures as well as PC maintenance and upgrading. I am more concerned about hardware, and operating systems, not software apps such as Excel, Access or otherwise. Do Help desks typically handle this routine, day-to-day maintenance, or do companies typically outsource this tasks? Please respond to Skibebe@pacbell.net. Thanks |
