I tried this software and seems to be very useful. The work flow is very dynamic and has a very friendly interface. I found some flaws, one of these is that the applications has not customizable user fields. Typically, we employ these fields to insert aditional data as serial number, asset number or similar. I have not found some way to do it with HelpStar.

I'm doing an assignment for the HelpSTAR 2000, I can't find any in-depth articles, e.g. product comparisons, about this application besides the marketing materials and a few user guides. Do you know how I can get this information?

I was wondering if there is a user community group such as a g pug out there that discusses helpstar and some of the solutions, problems, and ideas people have used it for.

The pricing and number of users for this software as listed on this site seem to be wrong. After calling a Help Star slaes rep, the pricing seems to be $995 for 5 unique (or priveledged) users, and unlimited end-users.

Our organization has about 100 users and two IT staff. HelpStar has worked well for us for the last three months....until helpstar ver 8 came out!

The new version has broken all software that uses Crystal Reports. HelpStar support has been non-existent. We have had 25 users twiddling there thumbs for over a day now and will be working over time, probably all weekend getting rid off helpStar and rebuilding machines.FrownFrownFrown
