Supportwizard is definitly highly flexible and highly configurable, but the Systemrequirements are incredible. It totally ate a P800 Linux-Machine and an uninstall didn't work at all :(

How much memory did you have on this machine? Did you call them to describe the problem?

We have over 60 helpdesk staff using SW full time on a $2,000 PC (dual 700 MHz processor Linux with 384M RAM) and performance is great. (As it should be, the average CPU usage is less than 20%). The machine is also acting as a POP3/SMTP server etc and has had zero downtime in
three months (Linux rules!!!)

SupportWizard does seem to need at least 256M. When we increased the RAM from 128 to 256M, performance increased by a factor or twenty. Then we added another 128M "for saftey's sake".

We use the script that they supply "install.sh" to uninstall the software / re-install it on a new machine and it worked perfectly. The whole move took less than 10 minutes.
